Dear Readers,
I’ve almost finished posting the third novel of the Gaia Ascendant Trilogy. Out of all of my subscribers, there is a dedicated group that has read every chapter.
It’s been said that “Fiction is hard on Substack,” and I agree with that. New subscribers come slowly, and my total list hasn’t built as quickly as those of many non-fiction Substack authors.
I’ve set the paid subscription amount to the lowest that Substack will allow; nevertheless, most readers prefer to read for free. Can’t blame them. If I can read a book for free, I will avoid paying for it. However, I have no problem paying for ebooks regularly.
What I’m getting at is that, once all of Confederation is posted, I’m planning on releasing one of my award-winning novels, a chapter at a time. At a certain point in the story, I intend to put up a paywall. Writing a book is not inexpensive; there is both the massive investment in time and the hard cost of artwork, etc. So, I really need to make a little back. My hope is that, if you enjoy my storytelling, you will at least consider the option of becoming a paid subscriber.
You can also help me for free by recommending my ‘stack to your friends and by visiting my website at
Now, to be fair, I intend to give you a choice of which novel I will post next. Here are the choices. Click on the one you’d like.
If you are so motivated, you can research each story at my website (above).
Regards,
Eric
