Yet another book promo. This one has lots of romance, including shifters, Faes, and aliens! Look for my novel, “Heart of Fire, Time of Ice.” This is the first time travel novel in the Time Equation Series. My consultant rebranded it as Love Through Time since it fits into the time travel romance category as well as science fiction.
As an aside, that’s the problem with writing. Sometimes the characters insist on falling for each other. This creates a cross-genre book that is a little difficult to categorize.
No unusual stuff here—just a slow-burn romance set in an environment with lots of threats and adventure. I set out to write a prehistoric time travel story, and … Well, just read it, and you’ll see.
If you’re not a romance reader, don’t worry. The story is blindingly realistic with murder, violence, intertribal warfare, hunting, and lots of dangerous animals, and it will keep even the most hardened science fiction reader satisfied with the time travel methodology and the details of the Pleistocene fauna and environment.
The best part is that if you like Kathleen and Cadeyrin, there are four follow-up full novels with the same characters.
Hope you’re enjoying “Second Wave.” When I finish posting the 40 chapters, I will most likely move on to the third novel (Confederation) in that trilogy, so if you’re hooked on Declan’s adventures, there are more to come.
If you’re new to my Substack, I’m releasing The Gaia Ascendant Trilogy from my early writing. The books will remain on my Substack and are available for free. You can either browse through the posts until you find the beginning of each book or you can subscribe and receive a chapter a week.
I sometimes interject a book promo or even a short story in the flow just to keep readers on their toes. I want to provide some fun reading. My (perhaps naive) hope is that you’ll take the time to check out my other books. They’re available on all Internet stores and in print through your favorite bookstore (they might have to be ordered).
