Sometimes, I wonder how I keep getting involved in romance promos, especially since I consider myself a science fiction author and have several awards for adult science fiction books to prove it.
The root cause is that my best-selling time travel book has all of the hallmarks of a slow-burn romance but with a distinct science fiction flair. I set out to write a time travel story, but the two main characters insisted on falling for each other. Rather than fight them (it's best not to twist the characters you've developed into acts that would not come naturally to their makeup. You might as well start all over), I decided to allow the story to flow. My wife would tell you that I'm not particularly romantic, but maybe it's suppressed and just comes out when I write.
If you haven't read Heart of Fire, Time of Ice, or any of the four follow-up books in the series, I hope you consider giving the Time Equation Series a chance. It gets mostly good reviews (there are always a few people out there who can't be pleased) and has a good number of sales.
This book promo offers a limited selection, but you might find something unexpected to read.

If you’re not a romance reader, don’t worry. The story is blindingly realistic with murder, violence, intertribal warfare, hunting, and lots of dangerous animals, and it will keep even the most hardened science fiction reader satisfied with the time travel methodology and the details of the Pleistocene fauna and environment.

Eric

This is one of my stories that has been published in different anthologies. It's about a lone woman's struggles to cope with an apocalyptic event, and it's 15k high-tension words that fall into the "can't put it down" category.
It requires you to sign up for my mailing list, but since you're getting this email, you're already on it, so enter your info again and grab the story. I think you'll enjoy it.
